DESCRIPTION

AcroYoga blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community. Jenny Sauer-Klein and Jason Nemer co-founded the practice in 2003, which has since touched the lives of hundred of thousands of people world-wide.

This AcroYoga workshop workshop will emphasize the qualities of trust, connection and playfulness. We ignite our collective potential as we support each other to reach new heights. Monkey Madness invites you to experience the full spectrum of your being through opportunities to: give and receive; to support and to be supported; to be strong and sensitive. It is a systematic approach designed to be accessible to every practitioner, and encourages personal transformation in an atmosphere of acceptance, celebration and safety.

JULIA’s journey in yoga began in Southern California where she lived, loved and trained in Los Angeles, and completed her first teacher training with Yoga Works, Santa Monica. Julia now lives in Beirut, where yoga continues to be a big part of her life. Julia is convinced that we need a lot more yoga in this psychic city and is excited to be part of it. On a personal level, she is a dedicated Ashtangi and currently teaches both LED and Ashtanga-based Vinyasa flow classes.

ERIN was born and raised in the Soka Gakkai lay Buddhist community in Toronto, Canada. She has held leadership positions within the SGI in both Canada and the United Kingdom, including as a lecturer on Buddhist philosophy and a youth and student division leader and coordinator. She has been living in Beirut for the past four years, where she works as a writer and editor and also teaches yoga.

ALI traveled to Dharamsala, Himalayas India for his yoga teacher training after only 2 years of practicing yoga. He then continued to Bali, Indonesia for his Acoryoga teacher training. Ali’s practice of yoga is very much tied to his passion for extreme sports as a national snowboarding champion and a dedicated surfer.
