balanceAs yogis, we seek physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance, however we often objectify this notion of balance by using it as a noun. We say things like I am trying to find balance in my life, when balance in fact is not some static place you can reach. More of an active verb, balance constantly re-balances itself in a moving equilibrium of relationships in every moment. So balancing is not a destination, it is a constant journey. You won’t find it by following a systematic way of living or being, but you will discover it by developing a sensitive awareness that responds and adjusts to the ever shifting moment. In other words instead of seeking to attain balance, you need to learn the art of balancing ~ Danielle Abisaab
