Lara Nina Shabb is a 1,000hr certified yoga teacher. She trained under Jared McCann at Lighthouse Yoga School and under Sri Dharma Mittra at the Dharma Center in New York, and under Gopi Kinnicutt at the Bhakti Center in Washington D.C., where she focused on trauma-sensitive yoga and advanced sequencing.
Lara Nina fell on Hatha Yoga on the back of a CrossFit injury, and soon fell in love with the practice. Asana (physical practice) evolved to include mantra, meditation, japa, and most importantly, Bhakti, devotional service and sacred sound.
She is passionate about yoga off the mat and using awareness to live powerfully, authentically and holistically. Her journey has taught her that growth is non-linear, and that working slow may be the fastest way to work.
