Something inexplicable happens to our bodies when we dig our feet into soil, listen to the song of birds, watch sun-rays filter through tree canopy. The healing powers of nature have been spoken about, sung, and painted by humans since the dawn of time. Echoing ancestral knowledge we all intuitively share, psychologists have found that just two hours spent in nature lowers mental distress and illness, while improving cognitive health and physical well-being.
In a world where cars honk and planes whir, smartphones scream for our attention, alarm clocks wake us up to the frenetic soundtrack of modernity, it is becoming apparent that we are not only losing our physical connection to the natural environment around us, but also losing our connection with the inner self.
Set in an eco-friendly farm located in the Algarve Portugal, this profound and transformational journey we are stoked to be co-leading is an invitation to break down the walls of the virtual fortresses of separation that are erected everyday from living inside the swirling pit of urbanized cities. Together, we will explore and honor principles and practices from the ancient wisdom of Yoga and Nature Based Spirituality; channels through which we reconnect with our bodies, root ourselves in the present moment, and find oneness with the world around us.
Daily yoga, meditation, breath work, shamanic ceremonies, star-gazing, wholesome food, sharing circles, journaling, and generous amounts of contemplative time spent in stunning nature will create the perfect container to reconnect to the vibration of our shared cradle and set the stage for individual harmonization and balance, while drawing upon our inextricable and ancestral connection to nature.

Vida Pura is an eco-friendly farm built from natural and locally sourced materials (clay, hemp, and earth) It is located in the middle of a natural reserve close to the town of Odeceixe and its marvelous beach. A project based on bio-dynamic principles, with the aim to cultivate awareness in creating a more sustainable planet and bringing people closer to their inner nature.
